Delta i en enkätundersökning om stöd och vård vid psykisk ohälsa

Forskning från såväl Sverige som andra länder visar att personer som lever med hiv upplever psykisk ohälsa i större utsträckning än personer som inte lever med hiv.[1] Samtidigt har det visat sig att en del personer som lever med hiv inte får det stöd eller den vård de behöver, och att aktörer som erbjuder stöd eller vård ibland saknar hivkompetens.[2] I FN:s globala aidsstrategi finns målet att minst 90 % av alla som lever med hiv ska ha tillgång till vård för psykisk hälsa som är integrerad i hivvården och anpassad till individen och kontexten.[3]

PG genomför nu en enkätundersökning med målet att personer som lever med hiv i Sverige ska få adekvat stöd och vård vid psykisk ohälsa. Genom enkäten vill vi samla in erfarenheter från personer som lever med hiv i Sverige och som under de senaste två åren mått psykiskt dåligt, med fokus på vad som fungerat bra och mindre bra i mötet med aktörer som ska erbjuda stöd eller vård. Lärdomarna tar vi med oss in i PG:s verksamhet, exempelvis i informations- och påverkansarbetet.

Deltagande i undersökningen

Du deltar i undersökningen genom att svara på en anonym enkät online. Enkäten uppskattas ta 5–20 minuter att besvara. Enkätfrågorna handlar till viss del om på vilket sätt du har mått psykiskt dåligt, men mest av allt om dina upplevelser av det stöd eller den vård du eventuellt fått. Om du upplever att någon fråga i enkäten är känslig eller svår att besvara, kan du välja svars­alternativet ”vill inte svara”. Du kan när som helst välja att avbryta enkäten. Om du påbörjar enkäten men inte slutför den, kommer dina svar inte att användas.

Hantering av enkätsvaren

Enkätsvaren kommer att sammanställas av Ane Martínez Hoffart, samordnaren för kunskap och förankring på Posithiva Gruppen. Obehöriga personer kommer inte ta del av enkätsvaren. PG kommer att spara enkätsvaren i två år efter publicering av resultaten.

Vid analys av enkätsvaren kan data på gruppnivå komma att delas med andra anställda på Posithiva Gruppen samt med de två sakkunniga psykologer som varit involverade i utvecklandet av enkäten: Lena Nilsson Schönnesson (docent, leg. psykolog) och Axel Lilja (leg. psykolog).

Publicering av resultaten

Resultaten av undersökningen kommer att sammanfattas i en skriftlig rapport som publiceras på Posithiva Gruppens webbplats. Rapporten förväntas vara klar under hösten 2025.

Do you want to participate in a survey on support and care for mental health problems?

Research from Sweden as well as other countries shows that people living with HIV experience mental health problems to a greater extent than people not living with HIV.[1] At the same time, it has been shown that some people living with HIV do not receive the support or care they need, and that providers of support or care sometimes lack HIV competence.[2] The UNAIDS Global AIDS Strategy includes the target that at least 90 % of people living with HIV should be linked to mental health services that are people-centred, context-specific, and integrated with HIV care.[3]

PG is now conducting a survey with the aim of ensuring that people living with HIV in Sweden receive adequate support and care for mental health problems. Through the survey, we want to collect experiences from people living with HIV in Sweden who have felt mentally unwell in the past two years, focusing on positive and negative aspects of the interactions with providers of support or care. The lessons learnt will be used in PG’s work, for example in the areas of information and advocacy.

Participation in the survey

You participate in the survey by completing an anonymous online questionnaire. Completing the questionnaire is estimated to take 5–20 minutes. The survey questions partly address in what ways you have felt mentally unwell, but mostly focus on your experiences of the support or care you may have received. If you feel that any question in the survey is sensitive or difficult to answer, you can choose the option “do not want to answer”. You can choose to cancel the survey at any time. If you start the survey but do not complete it, your answers will not be used.

Management of the survey responses

The survey responses will be compiled by Ane Martínez Hoffart, Knowledge and Engagement Coordinator at Posithiva Gruppen. Unauthorised persons will not have access to the survey responses. PG will store the survey responses for two years after publication of the results.

When analysing the survey responses, group-level data may be shared with other employees at Posithiva Gruppen as well as with the two psychologists who have been involved in the development of the survey: Lena Nilsson Schönnesson (docent, licensed psychologist) and Axel Lilja (licensed psychologist).

PG works in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). General questions about PG’s privacy and data protection work may be directed to gdpr@posithivagruppen.se.

Publication of the results

The results of the survey will be summarised in a written report that will be published on Posithiva Gruppen’s website. The report is expected to be ready in the autumn of 2025.
